What makes a bird a bird? Join volunteers from the Cornell Lab of Ornithology and learn about birds’ special characteristics. Using specimens from the Cornell University Museum of Vertebrates, you’ll see firsthand what makes birds so extraordinary. Explore feathers, different forms and functions, see how bird beaks are adapted for their diet, and how foot size and shape vary across species. (Class minimum 4)
