IGI is an innovative research study in partnership with University of Pennsylvania’s Center for Guaranteed Income Research, Mayors for Guaranteed Income, Enterprise Community Partners and the Ithaca Eviction Displacement Defense.
IGI provides $450/ month for 1 year to caregivers in the City of Ithaca with no strings attached.

This application survey takes about 45 minutes, can be accessed on your phone, computer, or tablet, and can be saved and returned to anytime during the week-long application period.

We anticipate that it will take 4-6 weeks for the randomization process to take place. People who are selected to either receive the guaranteed income or to participate in further research will be notified directly. Unfortunately, due to privacy concerns we will not notify people who aren’t selected into the research pilot.
The research questions included are all sourced from validated research tools, which means they have been tested to ensure accuracy, reliability and consistency. Some of the questions will ask you to consider your emotional experiences related to your financial well-being and could feel difficult or uncomfortable to answer. All of your answers are completely confidential
