This Gorge Formation presentation centers on how water, the type of rock (and how it was formed) plate tectonics and hydraulic fracturing have all contributed to the formation of our many gorges and waterfalls.

Josh Teeter is the environmental educator for the Finger Lakes Region of the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation. He has a Master’s degree in the management of parks, is a graduate of Wilderness Awareness School and has taught a variety of classes at local colleges.
