An event every week that begins at 2:00 pm on Friday, repeating until October 20, 2023
Both in awe of family farms and fields, Tommy and Peaches have been deliberately coupling their art in a way that has gained significant recognition on social media.
In these workshops you will view Tommy’s brilliant watercolors and, lovingly guided by Peaches, you will write your own poetic reflections. (Class minimum 5, maximum 25)
Instructor: Peaches Gillette & Tommy Beers
Peaches, a Brooklyn born, self-published poet & prosaist, has been a resident of Tompkins County for the past 5 years and hosts “Poetic Voices” Workshops throughout the community. She facilitates Race-Relations workshops, in which writing is an essential part. She taught Language Arts & Poetry at College Initiative Upstate, private groups of adults, and for those held at Tompkins County Jail.
Tommy has been a longtime member of the Ithaca community. He specializes in watercolor painting and is an integral part of the Ithaca artist community.
