UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED, ALL PROGRAMS TAKE PLACE AT LIFELONG AND REQUIRE MEMBERSHIP
An event every week that begins at 11:00 am on Tuesday, repeating until October 24, 2023
Democracy can’t survive enmity from all sides. Let’s talk about a new model — one that relies on citizens shaping their own ways of life. We can make common cause, even without sharing the same values, focusing on common structures that foster engagement within our communities. Join a lunchtime discussion of how we might become a democracy within our current capitalist system. Bring your own lunch; beverages/nibbles provided. (Class minimum 4, maximum 25)
