UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED, ALL PROGRAMS TAKE PLACE AT LIFELONG AND REQUIRE MEMBERSHIP
An event every week that begins at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, repeating until April 26, 2023
What’s that – a shortage of baby formula? Why? The price of gas – doubled? What about price controls? And the trade deficit is up again? But we’ve protected our industry with tariffs and quotas. Shouldn’t we have a surplus of exports? And with all this “the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.” These and other questions will be discussed. After reviewing some basic principles of economics, using the same basic approach of every college economics textbook, the presenter will apply these to the economic issues of the day.
