UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED, ALL PROGRAMS TAKE PLACE AT LIFELONG AND REQUIRE MEMBERSHIP
Viewing and discussion of several film or TV treatments of the famous playwright as a fictive (or semi-fictive) personage. Viewing will include Shakespeare in Love, All is True, Anonymous, and The Upstart Crow. Discussion will include critical examination of the docudrama and the biopic as well as the famous man from Stratford-upon-Avon.

Instructor: Barry Adams
Barry is a Professor of English Emeritus at Cornell. Since retirement he has taught a variety of courses at Lifelong, on Shakespeare, opera, the English language and the King James Bible.
