“Klezmer music has its origins in Europe among the Ashkenazi Jews…This traditional folk music borrows inspiration from music from the synagogue, Roma peoples, European folk musics, and even classical music.” (Boston Public Library)
Drop down for a lively evening of Klezmer music – fun to listen to and eminently danceable. A chance to socialize, enjoy nibbles & wine, and if you’re up for it, learn a freylekhs or bulgar.
